Enjoy seasonal treats and winter warmers from our Winter Food Market, brimming with festive flavours and feel-good bites.
Or cosy up in our Outdoor Christmas Teepee, the perfect place to relax, unwind and soak up the seasonal spirit with a warm drink in hand.
From 27th December, a condensed Winter Food Market will be available, featuring selected street food and drinks options.
Please note: the Outdoor Christmas Teepee closes on Christmas Eve.
Guests visiting on any date are also welcome to enjoy food and drink in our main dining options, which operate independently from the Light Trail.

Where is the event held?
The Light Trail takes place in the Hidden Garden at Bents Garden & Home, Warrington Road, Glazebury, WA3 5NT. -
When is the Light Trail open?
The event runs on selected evenings this winter. Please check the booking calendar for available dates and times. -
How long does the experience take?
We recommend allowing around 60–90 minutes to enjoy the Light Trail at your own pace, with additional time to relax in our Outdoor Christmas Teepee, explore the Winter Food Market, or stop at the trailside drinks hut. -
Is the event suitable for children?
Absolutely! The experience has been designed for all ages, from toddlers to grandparents. Children must be supervised at all times.

How do I book tickets?
Tickets are available to book online. Just click the “Book Now” button on this page to select your preferred date and time slot. -
Are tickets limited?
Yes – to ensure a magical experience for all, we operate timed entry slots and limited capacity. Early booking is strongly recommended. -
Do I need to print my ticket?
No – digital tickets on your mobile device are fine. Just have them ready to show on arrival. -
What if I’m running late for my slot?
Please aim to arrive within your booked time slot. We’ll do our best to accommodate late arrivals, but entry cannot be guaranteed outside your allocated time. -
Can I buy tickets on the day?
We strongly advise booking in advance as dates often sell out. Limited walk-up availability may be offered, but cannot be guaranteed. -
Are tickets refundable or transferable?
All tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please double-check your chosen date and time before confirming your booking.

Is the trail accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs?
Yes, the Light Trail has been designed to be accessible. However, as it’s an outdoor trail, please be aware that surfaces may be uneven or muddy in places depending on the weather. -
Are there toilets on-site?
Yes – toilets, including accessible facilities and baby changing, are available within the Bents centre and in our Outside Plant Area. Please note there are no toilet facilities on the trail. -
Is parking available?
Yes – parking is free at Bents. We recommend arriving early to allow time for parking during peak times. -
Can I book a Carer ticket?
We are pleased to provide an additional ticket for Carers of disabled people who are unable to attend the event without the assistance of an essential companion. A disabled person purchasing a ticket can obtain 1 free Carer ticket (all tickets must be pre-booked through our ticketing site).
To help us ensure that these tickets are made available to those with genuine needs, please bring one of the following forms of documentation with you to the light trail.
1.Entitlement to Disability Living Allowance for children under 16 or DLA/Personal
2.Independent Payments (PIP), either in the form of a letter stating that the benefit has been awarded, or the actual Allowance book
3.Attendance Allowance or Carer’s Allowance letter of award
4.Incapacity Benefit books, or a letter notifying the recipient that the benefit has been awarded Incapacity Benefit or Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
5.In the case of visual impairment, a registration card known as the BD8 or a Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI)
6.A local authority registration document which is local to the attraction where it is being submitted
7.A recognised Assistance Dog ID Card

Can I get food and drink during the event?
Yes! You’ll find festive treats and seasonal bites at our Winter Food Market, along with a cosy Outdoor Christmas Teepee serving warm drinks.
On the trail itself, there’s a dedicated drinks hut offering hot chocolate and more, plus a marshmallow roasting station where you can toast your own over an open flame – a perfect winter warmer moment! -
Can I bring my own food and drink?
We kindly ask that only food and drink purchased on-site be consumed during the event.

Yes – the Light Trail is an outdoor experience. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear suitable footwear. -
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are not permitted on the Light Trail, with the exception of assistance dogs. However, well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome in other areas of Bents, including the Winter Food Market. -
Will the event still go ahead in bad weather?
Yes – the trail will go ahead in most weather conditions. In the unlikely event that we need to cancel due to safety concerns, we will contact ticket holders directly. -
Can I take photos or videos?
