Join Paintings by Nel for a relaxing, hands-on textured painting workshop designed especially for beginners. No experience is needed, just bring your creativity, and Nel will guide you through the rest.
Set within the inspiring surroundings of Bents, this creative session is the perfect opportunity to slow down, unwind, and explore the beautiful world of textured painting in a welcoming and supportive environment.
During the workshop, you’ll learn a range of techniques to add depth, movement, and dimension to your artwork, including:
• Flower techniques - create stunning blooms with layered texture
• Combing methods - add beautiful linear detail and movement
• Palette knife application - master bold, expressive strokes
• Texture paste mixing - learn how to build and apply rich textures for dramatic effects
Once you’ve explored the techniques, you’ll spend the second half of the session creating your own unique textured artwork. Choose from a selection of inspiring styles and enjoy bringing your ideas to life using your newly learned skills.
All materials and tools are provided, so you can simply relax and enjoy the process. You’ll leave with a finished painting, plenty of inspiration, and the confidence to continue creating at home.
